Have you ever met a Feng Shui practioner who also offers Color Therapy and Aromatherapy, who is also an Interior Environment Coach and is a Certified 200-Hour Yoga Teacher? And is doing this all in one business? I have!!
Meet Sherry Steine, owner of SBW Aligned Expressions. She is a multi-passionate entrepreneur who has combined all of these practices to help people align their mind, body and home! And I LOVE it!!
If there’s one thing we’ve learned over the last year of home quarantine, it’s that our home needs to be our sanctuary! Our surroundings directly reflect what’s happening on an inner level and can change how we feel. Add in some yoga and aromatherapy with a dash of color and Sherry offers an amazing holistic approach.
Sherry needed personal branding images that reflected all these parts of her business and I couldn’t have been more thrilled to work with her! We had planned her session and had come up with a studio location space but for various reasons we had to reschedule a couple of times. I believe that happened because the universe knew we needed to do the majority of Sherry’s session in her home! And it couldn’t have worked out better! We also did some yoga shots at Radiance Yoga to get some of those clear and clean yoga pose images.
When I do branding photography I take the approach of looks and locations. It works better that way than basing the session on time. Because one physical location can actually equal to 3 or 4 photo locations. Think scenes or vignettes. And being in one physical location means less travel time and easier outfit changes which equals a TON OF IMAGES!
I also took my portable backdrops from Vflat World. Have you ever made a purchase that changed everything. This was one of those for me and has had me obsessed with backdrop photos for well over a year now.
I could go on and on about how much I loved this session and how fabulous Sherry is. But it’s more fun to look at photos so enjoy! And if you want to see how to effectively use your images on social media, check out SBW Aligned on Instagram. Sherry is killing it!
